2018, built by Wes Robbins Joinery

A colourful kitchen and some new glazing freshen this existing home by the forest and sea, amplifying the internal experience of the surrounds.

Bright colour instils a holiday atmosphere. The extensive use of timber creates a material appreciation of the surrounding forest at finer scale. Architectural details serve to strengthen the personality of the existing building and bring it to life, without overly modernising it.

Challenges such as working with the limited existing flooring were overcome with the design of details unique to the project.
